Abstract

Jan Bauer is currently with Universität Leipzig, Germany, at the institute for physics didactic, giving lectures in experimental physics for students becoming teachers. He did solar cell research at Fraunhofer IMWS, Halle (in joint venture with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences). He was scientist at Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics, Halle, (all Germany), and development engineer at CaliSolar GmbH, Berlin, Germany / Sunnyvale, CA. Jan's interests are solid state physics, and characterization methods mainly for silicon photovoltaic purposes, and giving lectures in physics.
